Marketing Authorisation Holders (MAHs)

MAHs are obliged to contract with and pay fees to SecurMed if their Marketing Authorisation is valid for Northern Ireland.

The fee levels for Northern Ireland are set out below:

  • A set-up fee of GBP £1,000 is payable upon registration.
  • There will be no Annual MAH Operational Fee for 2024.

Registering with and paying fees to SecurMed does not complete the obligations on MAHs, Parallel Distributors and Manufacturers.

All MAHs must register and onboard with European Medicines Verification Organisation (EMVO) to be able to upload Product and Pack information to the UKNI MVS.

Following receipt of your MAH Registration Form, SecurMed require each MAH to sign and return a SecurMed MAH Agreement via DocuSign.

Register with the European Medicines Verification Organisation (EMVO)

Once MAHs have registered and onboarded with the European Medicines Verification Organisation (EMVO), EMVO will perform the required assessments, contract with the MAH and process the payment before granting access to the European Medicines Verification System (EMVS).

All Product and Pack data can then be uploaded to the EMVS, operated by EMVO and will be automatically distributed to the UKNI MVS when using the GB Country code.
